Running to and fro

collecting what he needs.

Yet in the long run this we know,

from God’s hand this runner feeds.

How much of this one’s thoughts

are spent in efforts to succeed,

in trying not to worry

about the things that he will need?

Not many I assure you,

for he’s content to be a bird.

To think he’s more than just a creature

is a lie he’s never heard.

He stands fast in his position,

a mere recipient of love,

a living way to glorify

God almighty up above.

So stand fast in your position,

a simple creature dead in sin,

rejoicing God has made a way

for you to live again.
